MAMMOTH FIVE STAR LODGING POLICIES

Office hours:
Monday thru Friday from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM and Saturday/Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. After hours: We have after hours emergency on call staff of which the phone number will be provided on your confirmation upon making a reservation with a deposit.

Reservation/Deposit:
We will gladly make a reservation for you with a deposit paid by Visa, Master Card or American Express. A deposit is equivalent to a one night rental rate for the unit you reserve. The balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival date. We will charge the credit card used to make the deposit for the balance 30 days prior to your arrival date unless other arrangements are made. For the Christmas/New Years holiday period, the deposit is the same as mentioned above; however, the balance is due on November 1st.

Cancellations:
We accept cancellations 30 days or more prior to arrival, or November 1st for the Christmas/New Years holiday stays, and the cancellation fee is $30.00. Within 30 days of your arrival date, or by November 1 for Christmas/New Years holiday stays, there are no cancellations, rain checks or refunds (NO EXCEPTIONS). Refunds will be issued via check. If one is to cancel a verbal or written cancellation is required ( I.e.: leaving a message on 866- mammoth or sending a written cancellation postmarked 30 days prior to your arrival date : P.O. box 5037 Mammoth Lakes Ca 93546.

Check in/Check out:
Our check in time is 4pm and check out is at 11am. There are no early check ins nor late check outs allowed unless the next day is still available and you elect to book the room and pay for another night.

Pets:
We have units that are “Pet Friendly”, however, not all units, nor properties, allow pets. When you call to inquire about availability, make sure to let the reservationists know if you will need a “Pet Friendly” unit. There is a $50 pet fee if your pet is allowed and will be staying in the unit with you. Pets are not to be left unattended in the unit due to barking, scratching, etc. We can assist you with finding a pet-sitter if you need one.

Room changes:
Due to circumstances beyond our control (ie: building construction, emergency maintenance issues that prevent occupancy, etc.). In such a situation, we reserve the right to substitute the reserved unit for a like unit or better prior to arrival.

Damages:
Each unit is inspected immediately upon check out by our Property Manager. Any damage found will be estimated and charged to the credit card on file for the registered guest. Once actual costs are determined, a reconciliation of damages will be emailed/mailed to the registered guest and any amounts due back to the guest or amount due to Mammoth Five Star Lodging will be refunded or charged accordingly

Key Cards:
If staying at Juniper Springs Lodge, Sunstone, Lincoln House, White Mountain Lodge or Grand Sierra Lodge, access to the units is controlled by a Key Card system and will be sent to your house one week prior to arrival.
